The North Face Chilklog Clog - Women's
The North Face Women's Chilklog is a plush, insulated clog perfect for blustery winter walks around town. Not to mention the Chilklogs will make your feet VERY happy after being crammed into a stiff pair of ski boots all day. And while your feet chill comfortably, encased in plush Nubuck leather, the soles show no mercy to the ground you walk on—The North Face Winter Grip soles ensure you won't end up face-down on those icy patches. A four-way stretch Lycra collar keeps unwanted snow and rain out, and makes putting the Chilklogs on a breeze. 200 gram Thinsulate works its magic to keep your feet toasty warm.

Good grip, but doesn't breathe I've recently purchased a Greenland Northface jacket and loved it. I decided to try the snow clogs. I'm sorry to say I'm disappointed. They have great traction, but do not breathe. I never have sweaty feet. My feet are so wet in these that I cannot comfortably wear them around town without my feet getting cold and damp. These shoes are only good to get through a wet parking lot. Pack a second pair if you're going to be anywhere else.
Great shoes I purchased these shoes to help keep my feet warm and dry - and that is exactly what they do. Very comfortable, easy to put on, fits like a glove. I would recommend this shoe.
just not the shoe for me This shoe was not very comfortable, no arch support and too narrow in the toe. I will be sending it back.
Chillin in my clogs These clogs are great! They kept me from slipping in the rain and the snow! And, to top it off my toes were nice and toasty =) You can't really go wrong with North Face.

Training Tips
Heart monitors are useful for knowing when you are in the right zone for your training efforts. If you understand what your maximum heart rate is, you can set up your monitor to beep at you when you exceed the high or low range of your heart rate for the type of workout you are doing.
Cross training gives your body a chance to recover while still exercising. If yesterday has a hard run day up and down hills, then today's bicycle ride gives your aching knees a well deserved break.

Anaeroic threshold is when lactic acid starts to build up in your body as your muscles are not getting the oxygen they require. This threshold is typically expressed as a percentage of your VO2 max - the amount of oxygen per kilogram of weight that a person can use in converting fuel to energy. Elite athletes threshold might be as high as 90% of VO2 max.
Efficient running position allows you to run farther and faster. Keep the heel raise to a minimum, relax your upper body and hands, keep your upper body poised and quiet.
