SmartWool Ski Sock - Light
Remember the days when a sock was just a sock? Now socks are just as high tech as your outerwear, and honestly, our feet are thankful for it. Smartwool's Light Ski Sock provides lightweight cushioning to take some of the bang out of boot bang; because, really, who wants bruised shins all winter long? The Light Ski Sock features Smartwool's Smart Fit System, which combines an elastic arch and ankle brace with an instep flex zone for unparalleled fit and comfort. Flat-loop toe seams reduce hot spots around your toes, and the over-the-calf height of this sock ensures it doesn't bunch up inside your boots. The unique blend of wool, nylon and spandex yields an elastic sock that naturally staves off sweat and odor and holds its shape for seasons to come.

happy feet I love Smartwool. The socks are super durable, the wool doesn't smell—ever, and your feet are content in any tight ski boot you would have. The light style provides enough warmth without forcing the ski boots to be any larger, and they are just comfortable!

Training Tips
After each interval, take your pulse rate by counting the number of beats at your wrist or neck for 15 seconds. Multiply that result by four to get your beats per minute. Your next interval should start before your heart rate is less than 60% of your maximum.
The four components of good fitness include flexibility, muscular endurance, muscular strength, and cardiorespiratory endurance. For optimum health, include at least two of these groups in three workouts per week.

Your fitness level will improve by overloading, working your body hard enough to stimulate the body, progression, increasing the frequency, intensity, and duration of exercise over time, and regularity, working out frequently, at least three times a week.
As your fitness improves over time by following a carefully planned fitness program, your ability to exercise closer to your maximum heart rate will improve.
