Solid watch, no complaints
If memory serves, someone on these pages referred to the AXN 300 as a "big honking watch". There is no getting around this. But if you can live with that -- and I can -- it's a solid performer and lives up to what it promises.

Software good size too cumbersome
I liked the watch software, it has everything I needed but the size and the design of the watch make it very painful to use. I had to return the watch as it was rubbing against my wrist bone and becoming impossible to wear as it was turning into a bad experience.

Polar AXN 300 Watch
I bought this watch for my husband for Christmas. The watch literally has not been off his wrist. He is a ski patroller, fitness junkie and he uses the watch for all sorts of stuff!! It has not let him down yet! He had been looking for similar watches but this one has everything he wanted and was surprised when he opened it up Christmas day.

Training Tips

Your fitness level will improve by overloading, working your body hard enough to stimulate the body, progression, increasing the frequency, intensity, and duration of exercise over time, and regularity, working out frequently, at least three times a week.

As your fitness improves over time by following a carefully planned fitness program, your ability to exercise closer to your maximum heart rate will improve.

Did you know that to lose approximately one pound of fat, an average adult would have to walk 30 miles? You don't have to walk those 30 miles all at once.

If you consume 100 calories a day more than you need, you will gain about 10 pounds in a year.  A reasonable combination of diet and exercise can help control your weight.  The key is to balance your caloric intake with the amount of exercise.
