The DC Patrol snowboard boot for men combines technology and comfort to make a great fitting boot. The BOA wire lace system is the newest technology to hit snowboard boots. This unique ratcheting system uniformly tightens the boot with the turn of a dial. You can fine tune the fit while standing in the lift line or sitting down to lunch. The Gel liner has a gel padded toe to keep your toe nails intact upon impact. Internal laces retain your heel and improve the overall fit. A padded calf area is used for additional comfort. Hidden underneath the gum rubber outersole is a shock absorbing Performalite midsole too soak up chatter and soften hard landings. The synthetic leather upper is double lasted for a singularly stylish look and is responsive with out feeling too stiff. Love this BOOT!!
I have been riding Boa Lace boots for 3 seasons now and the DC patrol is what I got for this year and I LOVE IT!! My first day on the boot was at Wolf Creek, CO in the first week of November. Sometimes you know that a boot takes a few days to break in and feel good, but that was not the case with the Patrol. First day it felt great!! I think that has to do a lot with the liner. It is a really light weight liner that just has a great fit to the foot! Plus the Gel in the toe of a lot of DC boots gives a good cush in front of your foot! I definitely recommend this boot. The fit is great and it is so easy to lace with the BOA system.
Best boot you'll ever own!
The title says it all. First of all, the boa system is amazing, making laces obsolete. The speed of the boa system makes putting the boots on and taking them off a pleasure instead of a chore. Second the gel liner in these boots is incredible. Not a single pressure point in the boot. At the end of a day boarding you take your boots off and realize you haven't thought about your boots or your feet all day, that's when you know you have a nice boot! Highly recommend!
Perfect boots...
The DC Patrol boots are the best fit and comfort for the buck. The boa system is a must if you get tired of the sore hands from trying to tighten regular laces and also to avoid those bruised chins from the lace pullers giving way. It's great to loosen the boa system and walk around without laces flopping everywhere. Overall, I'm glad I bought them!
awesome boots
These boots are incredible. I was able to hike all day in fresh powder and ride down without getting sore or cold. These are probably the best fitting boots I’ve ever worn.

These boots are awesome. The BOA system works like a dream. They make the boots fit like a glove and save your calves with a click of the switch. Most comfortable snowboard I have ever worn. I highly recommend them.

Training Tips
Efficient running position allows you to run farther and faster. Keep the heel raise to a minimum, relax your upper body and hands, keep your upper body poised and quiet.
If you want to make progess in your training, join a running group. A commitment to meet on a regular basis with a group of like minded individuals will help you keep your focus.
An efficient long distance running stride will have you landing on your heal first and rolling to the front of your toes.
One of the most mentally toughening things you can do as a runner who trains daily is to add a morning run into your routine. This means you are doing two runs a day. The morning run is simply more of a mental challenge then anything else.
