impressed Bought these as a gift for a brand new snowboarder. Just learning u fall on your rear alot. She wore them out on our first day on the slopes and raved about how they protected her backside. As always a great product.
Buy them! These impact shorts are great. I've just started snowboarding lessons, and these have protected my backside and tailbone perfectly - only minor aches and pains, even after numerous wipeouts! Buy them, you won't regret it....
Red shorts I love the shorts, they've saved my butt and hips many times. They are comfortable, light weight, and great for those times when you need some extra padding; on rails, missing your landing after dropping a cliff, and for finding an unseen rock or tree. The only thing I don't like is that they make my butt look huge.
R.E.D. Women's Impact Shorts You only need to fall hard on your tailbone once to appreciate these shorts. I recently wore them snowboarding and really liked the added protection in the hips and thighs. But the best part is definitely the tailbone padding and hard exoskeleton-like guard. Nice peace of mind!

Training Tips
Cross training gives your body a chance to recover while still exercising. If yesterday has a hard run day up and down hills, then today's bicycle ride gives your aching knees a well deserved break.
Anaeroic threshold is when lactic acid starts to build up in your body as your muscles are not getting the oxygen they require. This threshold is typically expressed as a percentage of your VO2 max - the amount of oxygen per kilogram of weight that a person can use in converting fuel to energy. Elite athletes threshold might be as high as 90% of VO2 max.

Efficient running position allows you to run farther and faster. Keep the heel raise to a minimum, relax your upper body and hands, keep your upper body poised and quiet.
If you want to make progess in your training, join a running group. A commitment to meet on a regular basis with a group of like minded individuals will help you keep your focus.
