Proved to be an excellent investment! I was tired of getting bruised up from falling on my knees because of icy slopes! My knees are not black and blue anymore. I would suggest wearing these over clothing as I have heard they will rub against your skin otherwise.
These are great I really liked these kneepads (and have the elbow pads) because they don't just cover the middle of the knee but also cover a bit above and below. Also they are really breathable and comfortable. They do run small so an average woman should probably go with a medium.
