The North Face Venture Acclimate Jacket - Mens
The North Face Men's Venture Acclimate Jacket takes 3-in-1 jacket versatility to the lightweight all-season category, creating a system that allows you to comfortably travel through the broadest array of temperatures and conditions. The Venture Acclimate shell features HyVent DT, a highly breathable, waterproof fabric with a raised microdot inner surface that acts to lift the shell fabric away from your skin. This provides a comfortable, soft, easy-sliding feel while maximizing moisture transport away from your skin. The result: you stay drier and warmer. If cold weather moves in, zip in the included Bilayer Acclimate midweight jacket to create a winter-ready system. This is key for mountain travel when weather is unpredictable—from sun to rain to snow in an afternoon. In cool, dry periods, use the mesh-lined Acclimate layer on its own as a light outer layer. Both jackets are highly compressible and can zip into their own left pocket. Helpful touches include pit zips, two hand pockets, and adjustable cuffs.

Functionality I have used this jacket twice so far. The first time was in light rain during a 20 minute walk to school. The second time was during a severe thunderstorm in cold weather while running. In both cases, the jacket performed wonderfully. The flexibility of use is amazing. In light rain I wore only the shell and in the thunderstorm I wore the liner with it and stayed warm. This is a great jacket if you are highly active and very adaptable to any environment that a person might come across in a lifetime.
Great Versatile Jacket Very light, extremely packable, and usable in various climates, what else do you need? I've worn the jacket with acclimate liner in 30 degree weather, and the shell in pouring rain on a 70 degree day and been comfortable in both. I do wish the hood could be stowed when not in use, otherwise no complaints.
Jacket Review This jacket is awesome and I would recommend it to anyone in the Bay Area/ Pacific NW that wants something to keep them warm and dry. The Jacket and shell are really great.
Great value!! The North Face Venture Acclimate jacket is perfect for my needs. I wanted something waterproof yet with some insulation so that I can wear it all year. It is the perfect weight, and keeps out all the rain in Washington.
Excellent for the price Bought for my son for Christmas. It is now glued to him. He loves it. Dry in rain, warm enough (for him) in the winter. The zip out liner is especially nice.
