The North Face Denali Thermal Jacket - Men's
The North Face Denali Thermal jacket takes the proven design of the Denali and improves on it with Polartec Thermal Pro high loft fleece. Thermal Pro's loft means the Denali retains its legendary warmth, but unlike traditional fleece Thermal Pro is super compressible, so you can pack the Denali Thermal down into a bag or backpack, and forget you have it until things get cold. Since fleece is synthetic, the Denali Thermal will retain most of its heat even soaking wet. The Denali Thermal takes the Denali to the next level of convenience with its light weight and superior portability.

Exchange Appearance for Comfort This jacket is the most comfortable thing I've worn. The material is so very light and warm. Wind goes right through it but that is expected. I bought both the grey and black finding that neither of them looked all that great...returned the grey because I'm like that. I've had compliments and many hands wanting to touch the extreme softness. Alternatively I've had people issue reports of a 5'10" black bear. If you want to dress to impress spend your money on something else, but if you are not the type of person to care and want the most soft and warm jacket in the world BUY backcountry.com = continuing great service
Won't stop wind, but sure is toasty I was stoked to receive this jacket as a Christmas gift. The day after Christmas, we headed up to the Sierra in anticipation of a lot of freshies, and the weather didn't disappoint. On our first day out, I wore the Denali Thermal jacket, but forgot my wind shell. I was pretty chilled riding up the first chairs, but it was windy and snowing. After a couple of runs, I was fully warmed up, and the chill wasn't a factor. THe next day, I tried to zip it into my North Face Gore-tex shell, and the left zipper worked flawlessly while the right didn't fit. I would be more likely to blame the shell than the fleece. Maybe it's because the shell is a few years old, and North Face has changed zippers? Anyhow, out in one of the fiercest storms of the season, the jacket was toasty-warm. Even out in the snow, it didn't clump up with snow like the fleece gloves I was wearing. I'm really looking forward to using this product in cold, fair weather. If you plan on spending a lot of time in the wind, it would be worth springing for the wind-stopper version of this product. Otherwise, a high-quality piece of active wear.
Denali Thermal Jacket - Mens I'm very happy with this purchase. The fleece is soft and you can wear it either as a stand alone jacket or as a mid layer. I bought this jacket because I wanted something warm and comfy when I go snowboarding, in a single digit degree weather, a thermal, t-shirt, the denali thermal and the snowboarding jacket was sufficient to keep me warm. I have nothing bad to say about the jacket nor the service.

Training Tips
For runners looking to get the maximum benefit from hill training, as you sprint to the top of the hill have your arms pumping faster and faster. Once you get to the top, continue on increasing your speed as much as possible.
After each interval, take your pulse rate by counting the number of beats at your wrist or neck for 15 seconds. Multiply that result by four to get your beats per minute. Your next interval should start before your heart rate is less than 60% of your maximum.

The four components of good fitness include flexibility, muscular endurance, muscular strength, and cardiorespiratory endurance. For optimum health, include at least two of these groups in three workouts per week.
Your fitness level will improve by overloading, working your body hard enough to stimulate the body, progression, increasing the frequency, intensity, and duration of exercise over time, and regularity, working out frequently, at least three times a week.
