In fact, it kind of wears like a sleeping bag—comfortable and toasty. The North Face Baltoro Jacket has a 30 Denier Gore DryLoft shell that is breathable, water resistant, and windproof. The Radiant Taffeta lining is infused with a metallic coating that actually reflects body heat, and won't let it escape out of the jacket. It's so effective, that The North Face actually removed this lining from a less burly jacket because it was TOO warm. In other words, the Baltoro Jacket is the pinnacle of warmth.

Backcountry to Scotland to Russia and back to Scotland My son is now in Russia to spend Christmas with his fiance in St Petersburg and then moved to Perm where the temperature is -28 ( not inc wind chill!!). Can't Be Better This parka is so warm, light and comfortable I can't wait until the temperature drops below 0! My only complaint is that I wish the hood were removable, though if I took it off I would probably misplace it.
big, warm, and really nice This jacket is awesome. I love it. Some things that you might be concerned about are might include its puffiness, it is very large but oh so nice. The hood is also very big since it's insulated but it keeps you warm.

Training Tips

This threshold is typically expressed as a percentage of your VO2 max - the amount of oxygen per kilogram of weight that a person can use in converting fuel to energy. Elite athletes threshold might be as high as 90% of VO2 max.

Efficient running position allows you to run farther and faster. Keep the heel raise to a minimum, relax your upper body and hands, keep your upper body poised and quiet.
