Pretty Good
I bought this jacket as an insulating layer under a shell, and it is ok. It is warm enough in 25 degrees and above, but below that is gets pretty chilly, so it is not THAT warm really. It is a very good looking jacket though (at least blue is).

Warm and Practical
I have worn this jacket daily for the last month for active as well as casual wear, and I am very pleased with it. I have skied in weather from +5 F to +40 F and was comfortable (with the right layering) through it all. POSITIVES: insulation (toasty and cuts the wind - zippers well-baffled), sheds water and snow well, waist drawcord, NO VELCRO(r) (I find VELCRO(r) to be a lint and fuzz catcher), large pockets, and the appearance. NEGATIVES: sleeves (too long), cuffs are a bit loose (especially given the extra long sleeves), the waist drawcord hangs down ready to get caught on something. Compare it with the Arc'teryx Easyrider jacket.

Excellent
This jacket is great. I was skeptical of its warmth but let me tell you that I did some east coast skiing and this jacket held up great with only two basic thermal layers underneath. This will easily keep you wind and waterproof to at least 15-20 farenheit.

Great all round jacket!
The Apex is a great all weather jacket. I've used it for skiing in mild conditions with just a lightweight under layer. It really does block wind well. To get the full benefit the pockets should be zipped up as they let in some draft in windy conditions. Light rain and snow bead up on the fabric and roll off. It breaths well enough that it is not hot when worn indoors. When I don't know what the day's weather holds in store, this is the jacket I grab!

like it
Fits well, comfortable, get compliments from folks all the time. My only complaint is that it is a bit pricey.

Training Tips

Did you know that to lose approximately one pound of fat, an average adult would have to walk 30 miles? You don't have to walk those 30 miles all at once.

If you consume 100 calories a day more than you need, you will gain about 10 pounds in a year.  A reasonable combination of diet and exercise can help control your weight.  The key is to balance your caloric intake with the amount of exercise.

You can increase your maximum oxygen consumption by approximately 15% when you work out three times a week for at least 30 minutes at 70% of your maximum heart rate.

Low weight, high rep circuit training combines the best of both worlds: aerobic and anaerobic training.  Keeping the rest time in between high repeats low excercises like bench press, leg presses, inclined sit-ups, and upright rows is the key to maximum benefits.
