Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero Down Jacket - Mens

The Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero jacket surrounds you with 650-fill down for the coldest possible conditions this winter. Perfect for backcountry use, alpine climbing, or just kickin' around town, the Sub Zero is an incredible value from one of the true heavy hitters in outdoor clothing. You simply won't find down jackets of this quality at the Sub Zero's price. A nylon ripstop shell keeps this sweet jacket from exploding if you happen to snag it on a protruding rock fin or tree branch, and inset reinforcements at high-abrasion areas provide an extra amount of security. The fleece lined pockets keep those mitts extra toasty, and an inner zip security pocket is perfect for car keys or other valuables you can't afford to lose.

Are You Down?
Okay so this is the first down jacket I have ever owned. I am not sure why it has taken me so long, but I am an avid outdoorsman, and a few weeks ago was outside in a pretty much stationary posture for a few hours at a zero degree temperature, and got colder than I have been in a long time. Since then I have purchased this blessed coat and have not been cold since. I spent a few hours in it the other night in like conditions and was very comfortable. I am very pleased. The jacket is awesome!!!

Toasty
I think down jackets are the most versatile jackets around, and this mountain hardware sub-zero is the best one I've ever owned. I just fits me better the TNF jackets, and it keeps me warmer even though its 650 fill instead of 700. I would rate it a 5 if it had an intergrated hood and a fleece lined collar.

Awesome jacket!
Very warm! Great fit! Love the fleece lined pockets. No feathers linking!

All Around Winter Jacket
Well designed jacket, almost perfect for on & off use, very packable for air travel, and as warm as advertised. I use for commute to city high rise office, as well as to exercise and train dogs in open country. Would be a 5-star if the area over kidneys had more volume...a little light there, and should have the same kind of snag resistant fabric for the waist band as the shoulders and arms...it is a high wear area. Fleece pockets are very nice, as is the position of the Napolean pocket, easy access and room for glasses and cell phone. Can't have everything, so for the cost, it is a great value.

Mountain Hardwear is Hardcore
Just a lil’ background, I have owned Mountain Hardwear jackets for the last 10 years. I am a wildland fire fighter during the summer and an avid skier/mountaineer by winter. You will never find me without my Subzero or Chughach jackets wherever I am. Both jackets have lived up to the test of the mountains and the fire world. So they can probably take what ever you dish out to them..:D

Training Tips

The four components of good fitness include flexibility, muscular endurance, muscular strength, and cardiorespiratory endurance.  For optimum health, include at least two of these groups in three workouts per week.

Your fitness level will improve by overloading, working your body hard enough to stimulate the body, progression, increasing the frequency, intensity, and duration of exercise over time, and regularity, working out frequently, at least three times a week.

As your fitness improves over time by following a carefully planned fitness program, your ability to exercise closer to your maximum heart rate will improve.

Did you know that to lose approximately one pound of fat, an average adult would have to walk 30 miles? You don't have to walk those 30 miles all at once.
