Mountain Hardwear Snozone Jacket - Mens
The Mountain Hardwear Snozone is designed for snow sports, but works just as well to keep out chilly winds around town. Heading into the backcountry this winter? Wind Pro fleece will make a great touring companion. Built from this dense fabric, the Snozone offers four times the wind protection of traditional fleece without compromising breathability. Wind Pro's protective insulation staves off the chilling forces of wind, preserving precious body heat. Highly compressible and refreshingly lightweight, the Snozone has a super effective water-repellent exterior finish that sheds light rain and snow. Its trim contouring makes it great for layering. An added comfort is the seamless construction around the hips to prevent chafing from your pack-belt or harness, and Power Stretch at the wrists makes pushing your sleeves up easy. Details include zip hand and chest pockets, one-hand neck and hem drawcords, and an internal zip pocket. Of course the last thing you're concerned about is fashion, but just in case, or if you're a bad judge of such things, the Snozone is stylish as hell.

Mountain Hardware Snozone Jacket This jacket worked great on Mt Rainier as a mid-layer during bad weather and an outer layer on the nicer days. The DWR finish shed snow and sleet well, and the fleece dried quickly when it did get wet. Even though it is not wind proof, it holds heat in well in moderate wind. It also packs down fairly small (for fleece), so it didn't take up a lot of room.
Love the softness of this jacket. This is the softest of the mid-layer fleece jackets I could find. I really like it! :-)
Good stuff Lightweight, but it keeps me warm out on the slopes under my shell. I've worn it around town in 30 F weather with no problems. Slim athletic fit so not much execess material to get in the way. Pricey, but high quality.
the snozone This jacket is thinner than expected but still performed well backpacking on the AT in the fall season. Windbloc works well while still giving good ventilation. Cut of jacket is not bulky, almost feels like a thick shirt. Overall nice jacket I just think it's over-priced.

Training Tips
Efficient running position allows you to run farther and faster. Keep the heel raise to a minimum, relax your upper body and hands, keep your upper body poised and quiet.
If you want to make progess in your training, join a running group. A commitment to meet on a regular basis with a group of like minded individuals will help you keep your focus.

An efficient long distance running stride will have you landing on your heal first and rolling to the front of your toes.
One of the most mentally toughening things you can do as a runner who trains daily is to add a morning run into your routine. This means you are doing two runs a day. The morning run is simply more of a mental challenge then anything else.
