The jacket is quite warm, I am very satisfied with my purchase from this e-store. The design of the jacket is very well done, they covered every aspect as best as they could. I would've given it a 5 ranking but there are two things that I am not pleased about. One is obviously the color, I expected for a two hundred dollar jacket that more colors would be available. The second thing is that the velcros (from the right side) along the front zipper is catching the inside left front part of the jacket which causes a little tears along the stitchings when you leave the jacket hanging. I believe this is just a bad design on the maker's part and does not reflect backcountry.com's performance.

This jacket has got to be the best I have owned. For as lightweight as it is. The ronin is great when it comes to rain snow or even just a night out. Can’t be beaten by anything I know of. Definitely worth the money.

I'm a female but bought the men's small. It was great - not too heavy. We boarded 2 days in white-out conditions and 20 + inches of powder; never got cold. I'm still finding pockets I never knew about. Jacket holds gear without looking bulky or bulging. Great buy!!!

Cool jacket, I don't like the hood, but everything else is cool. It's got more pockets than a pack of kangaroos. Warm too. Not big and fluffy but warm. Burton is the best.

This is the jacket to have for the season has everything you need and more. Plenty of pockets for anything you need to stash, it's nice and warm. If it's below 0 throw on a hoody under it and you're ready to go. Burton makes the best outerwear on the market, you wont be dissapointed with anything you buy from them.
