The North Face River Rat Sandal - Mens
The North Face River Rat Sport Sandal lets you play in the water all day long without worrying about traction or blisters. A continuous piece of tubular nylon webbing wraps around your foot providing a precise fit and lasting comfort. There is no stitching to cause hot spots. A neoprene pad protects your heels from blisters. When launching your preferred watercraft or scrambling through slot canyons, you'll appreciate the slip resistant compounds that make up the sole. The Climb 100 rubber delivers excellent grip and traction during any outdoor pursuit, particularly in wet and dry rock-based environments. Aqua Grip herringbone-textured pads provide extra traction in water-based environments. They mirror the positioning of the underfoot pads to maximize the slip-resistant properties of the sole.

I love them I bought them right before a trip to the caribbean. I used them for the whole trip and I was very pleased with the way the performed in the water. Really good price as well.
River Rat Sandal is pretty good This is a very comfortable sandal. My complaints are that the straps are somewhat difficult to tighten adequately and are prone to loosen, and the pad inserts under your feet come loose.
Great all around sandal I have had these for about a year and have loved them. More so than past Teva brands. The have maintained comfort, wash up easily. Very nice for the money. Easy strap systems. Highly recommended.
River Rat Sandals Bought these for kayaking and fishing. The pad inserts came unglued and floated away after standing/fishing in the surf a while. Sole traction declines quickly with wear(less than 1 year). Highly adjustable and comfortable though.
Boundary Waters Just got home from an eight day trip to the boundary waters. I recommend this sandal to anyone who plans a canoe/rafting trip or anything involved with water sports. We had 3 200 rod portages among many smaller ones, and this sandal lasted thru it all. They provided great traction in and out of the water. No blisters, and if I could I would wear them all the time.

Training Tips
For runners looking to get the maximum benefit from hill training, as you sprint to the top of the hill have your arms pumping faster and faster. Once you get to the top, continue on increasing your speed as much as possible.
After each interval, take your pulse rate by counting the number of beats at your wrist or neck for 15 seconds. Multiply that result by four to get your beats per minute. Your next interval should start before your heart rate is less than 60% of your maximum.

The four components of good fitness include flexibility, muscular endurance, muscular strength, and cardiorespiratory endurance. For optimum health, include at least two of these groups in three workouts per week.
Your fitness level will improve by overloading, working your body hard enough to stimulate the body, progression, increasing the frequency, intensity, and duration of exercise over time, and regularity, working out frequently, at least three times a week.
