Sierra Designs Down Booties - Men's
Soft, breathable, compressible Sierra Designs down booties keep feet warm and comfortable around the house or in your tent. Picture this: You and the crew reach a reasonable snow camp after climbing up to about 10,000 feet. Before pitching a tent, the rest of the bozos pull their dogs out of their steaming tele boots only to put them in the 8-pound Sorels they've been carrying around all day. But not you. You bust out your feather light down booties that have compressed down to the size of a single paperback book. Like sleeping bags for your feet, they're the perfect snow camp bootie--warm, compressible, and durable.

everyone should have these. everyone. These should be issued to everyone at birth. They are the greatest. If every person from every country had a pair of Down Booties it would probably solve many of the world's problems. Maybe not the whole hunger thing. My dogs stay toasty warm in the coldest of Utah nights. They are super soft and very lightweight. They also give the wearer a comical smurfish appearance. How could anyone want to fight a smurf?
WARM FEET..finally We run out of heat in Italy A LOT- These booties are the best thing I have found to keep my feet warm - and when my feet are warm the rest of me feels better. If I am at home these boots are on my feet.
Great Customer Service The slippers I originally purchased for my 85-year-old dad were too small. I wanted to get him the replacement size as quickly as possible so I ordered the larger size prior to returning the original pair. You guys notified me when the returned pair was received and credited my card. I wish the local retailers were that easy to work with. Thanks, Mike
super comfortable I first got an earlier version of these a couple of years ago. They were brilliant to wear around the house in winter. This latest version is even better - smarter-looking materials and better grip for the sole. Can't believe they're still the only ones who make anything like this!
SD Down Booties- My Best Winter Purchase After using the SD Down Booties on several winter trips, I would say they are one of my best winter purchases. Very durable with a water resistant sole for walking around camp, even in a couple of inches of snow. Great loft that keeps my feet extremely warm even in below zero temps. I find them most comfortable when worn with socks. This prevents my feet from sweating into the bootie. When worn barefoot, the inner lining tends to stick to my foot and bunch up under my feet. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who does winter camping.

Training Tips
You can increase your maximum oxygen consumption by approximately 15% when you work out three times a week for at least 30 minutes at 70% of your maximum heart rate.
Low weight, high rep circuit training combines the best of both worlds: aerobic and anaerobic training. Keeping the rest time in between high repeats low excercises like bench press, leg presses, inclined sit-ups, and upright rows is the key to maximum benefits.

As a long distance runner, a gradual increase in distance each week will allow you to build a solid areobic base. Distance increase should be no more than 10% of the previous week's distance.
When buying a new pair of running shoes, bring your old ones with you. You will get a better fit if you know if you supinate or pronate.
