Marmot Ultimate Ski Glove - Unisex
Marmot's Ultimate Ski Glove is waterproof, warm, and durable. It's a bold statement to label any product as the " "ultimate" ", but Marmot is on to something with these incredible gloves. Two words define the Ultimate: warm & durable. The shell is made with Cordura reinforced with durable, supple, water-resistant Pittards Goatskin and then treated with a breathable Honeycomb coating. Even if these gloves were immersed in water, the exceptional PrimaLoft insulation will retain its thermal performance and won't bulk up leaving you with clumsy Marshmallow Man hands. A Gore-Tex XCR inner ensures that water won't penetrate, while a DriClime lining combats moisture from the inside by wicking perspiration away from sweaty palms.

Marmot Ultimate Ski Gloves live up to name Even though I don't ski (I snowboard), I purchased a pair of these about a month ago. I've taken them out into the backcountry a handful of times and have ridden in bounds with them as well. If you follow the directions and pull the fingers off individually, they're a breeze to put back on, and they're really warm. I'm used to having separate liners, but these gloves work great. They work well with camera equipment as well while they're on. I really like the leather palm and fingers on them, as I'm pretty hard on gear. I'd recommend these gloves to anybody serious about gear.
Marmot Ulitmate glove I am on my third pair of these Ultimate Ski Gloves. I've owned them for a number of years. They're warm but not as warm as the Randonee glove by Marmot. I think the leather makes them a bit colder. The biggest difficulty is that over time they split on the finger seams. not a major problem. With Marmot's "For Life" warranty they replace them for you. The leather palm dries out after time. I recommend the Randonee glove over these.
Love them If anything these gloves can be too warm. Perfect for staying out all day in the cold and deep stuff.
propably a good glove, but not for my needs I was looking for a glove to wear in extreme weather conditions on my Harley. My finger tips get painfully cold. I though these gloves would do the trick, but I was still cold. I think it is the wind chill factor. Anyway I had to break down and get some serious mittens.. Gaunlets,, Blk Diamond. CJ
perfect pair of gloves I like how even at 7 degrees F and a wind chill of -30 the goatskin leather is still soft enough to wipe your nose with. These gloves are great. You get what you pay for that is for sure. I bought them because my friend has had the same pair for about 3 years and has been raving about them nonstop. After 100 times on the mountain his look just like my (new) gloves. I used to laugh at him for paying that much but the joke was on me.

Training Tips
Heart monitors are useful for knowing when you are in the right zone for your training efforts. If you understand what your maximum heart rate is, you can set up your monitor to beep at you when you exceed the high or low range of your heart rate for the type of workout you are doing.
Cross training gives your body a chance to recover while still exercising. If yesterday has a hard run day up and down hills, then today's bicycle ride gives your aching knees a well deserved break.

Anaeroic threshold is when lactic acid starts to build up in your body as your muscles are not getting the oxygen they require. This threshold is typically expressed as a percentage of your VO2 max - the amount of oxygen per kilogram of weight that a person can use in converting fuel to energy. Elite athletes threshold might be as high as 90% of VO2 max.
Efficient running position allows you to run farther and faster. Keep the heel raise to a minimum, relax your upper body and hands, keep your upper body poised and quiet.
