WXtex bags
For the river, These are the best! A dry bag and compression sack combined. Stuck one into my daypack too. The rain didn't get to any of the stuff. I'm impressed. Thanks much guys.

WXtex Drybags
These things are wonderful. Nice and light weight, and made from a good sturdy fabric. I absolutely love the valves, they make it great when you need to compress and stuff into a little place in your pack or for going on the river just blow in a little air.

WXtex Pneumo Drybags
Excellent, I use them all the time. Good for backpacking or kayaking. Thank you!

WXtex Pneumo Dry Bags
This dry bag worked very well. I originally ordered the 5L bag but found out soon after receiving it that it was too small. So, I called and said I needed a larger size bag. Right away they checked the stock and recommended I order the 15L before sending the 5L back in order to make sure that I get the other bag while it was still in stock. Sure enough I got the new bag in time for my Boundary Waters trip in N. Minnesota. –Thanks!

Nothing to complain about...
It is a dry bag. There really isn't much you can say about them. I used it for adventure racing and it kept my gear dry. I love the air release valve - I wouldn't buy a bag without one. I bought the 5 liter and it fit my extra set of clothes, some TP, and a few Cliff bars and fit inside my pack without a problem.

Training Tips

Low weight, high rep circuit training combines the best of both worlds: aerobic and anaerobic training.  Keeping the rest time in between high repeats low excercises like bench press, leg presses, inclined sit-ups, and upright rows is the key to maximum benefits.

As a long distance runner, a gradual increase in distance each week will allow you to build a solid areobic base.  Distance increase should be no more than 10% of the previous week's distance.

When buying a new pair of running shoes, bring your old ones with you.  You will get a better fit if you know if you supinate or pronate.

Heart monitors are useful for knowing when you are in the right zone for your training efforts.  If you understand what your maximum heart rate is, you can set up your monitor to beep at you when you exceed the high or low range of your heart rate for the type of workout you are doing.
