Here's the straight dope on the StraitJacket: Not only does it offer awesome flotation, it also has front and back reflective striping and a strobe holder. The StraitJacket is fit specially for kayakers: the short waist and cut-out chest won't interfere with paddling motions or cause chafing. Low profile sidewalls prevent the vest from creeping up your rib cage. Convenience features include a pocket for your VHF radio right where you need it, a second stretch-mesh pocket that keeps cargo from shifting, and a front zipper for easy on-easy off.

Great PFD This is a very comfortable PFD. The arm and neck openings are obviously huge but the bottom edge of the jacket is also cut fairly high up on the torso so you have plenty of room for your spray jacket. This construction does however concentrate most of the flotation in a small volume so it can seem be a bit bulky, but once I'm out on the water I don't notice it. It probably would not fit a woman's anatomy very well either. Still, it's the best PFD I've ever worn.
top notch PFD Wow, I thought that most PFD's were comparable in quality, but the strait jacket is leaps and bounds above the competition. The upper cut of the jacket allows the boater a myriad of room that eliminates chafing against the coat when paddling. All of the primary flotation in is in front and behind the paddler, where it belongs. From flat water to big water, the strait jacket can take it all in comfort!

Training Tips
Efficient running position allows you to run farther and faster. Keep the heel raise to a minimum, relax your upper body and hands, keep your upper body poised and quiet.
If you want to make progess in your training, join a running group. A commitment to meet on a regular basis with a group of like minded individuals will help you keep your focus.

An efficient long distance running stride will have you landing on your heal first and rolling to the front of your toes.
One of the most mentally toughening things you can do as a runner who trains daily is to add a morning run into your routine. This means you are doing two runs a day. The morning run is simply more of a mental challenge then anything else.
