A GREAT backpack! This is the perfect backpack for day trips. I found it very comfortable to wear and it has room for just about everything. I have successfully taken it on day hikes and I have enjoyed taking it with me for work travel through airports. On airplanes, it fits perfectly below your seat as well as in overhead compartments. I am very pleased with my purchase.
Good overall light backpack. Versatile backpack with many nifty features. Sturdy and wide waist belt to spread load off the shoulders. Only criticism is the lack of sunglass/accessory pouch on the front shoulder harness.
great pack This pack has got a lot of use sense I have purchased it. It has gone with me on overnight campouts, and takes my books to class on the big days. Plenty of room for goddies and all the esentials you will need.
North Face Big Shot The best backpack money can buy! Perfect for riding around campus with a few notebooks and a book, extra sandals, gum and tons of pens and pencils. The organization is great, and the front pockets with the waterproofing make this backpack ideal. The hydration pocket is huge, able to fit a 3L camelback bladder. GREAT PACK!
it works This is a very good bag, plenty of space and strong enough for all my misguided trips. It's a little big for me, I am 5'4", but nothing that I can not deal with.

Training Tips
If you want to make progess in your training, join a running group. A commitment to meet on a regular basis with a group of like minded individuals will help you keep your focus.
An efficient long distance running stride will have you landing on your heal first and rolling to the front of your toes.

One of the most mentally toughening things you can do as a runner who trains daily is to add a morning run into your routine. This means you are doing two runs a day. The morning run is simply more of a mental challenge then anything else.
Have two pairs of running shoes, especially if you live in a wet climate. Consider replacing your shoes no later than 500 miles into the life of the shoes.
