Best leash on the market!
We have tried multiple rope leashes, only to come back to the Kelty Rope Leash. The movement of the clip allows comfort for the dog, while the thickness of the rope is comfortable for the owner. This is the only leash we will ever own!


Good Leash
This rope is a great rope for a dog that has a tendency to pull, like our German Shorthair Pointer. It's easy on the hands and the small grab strap at the front is good for close proximities. It's a long rope, too long if your dog has a tendency to walk beside you, but great otherwise.


The Best Leash I've Used
The Kelty K-9 is the best dog leash that I've found. In fact, it changed my dog's behavior on a leash, for the better. It's easy to attach and release, and the grab handle on the leash is great for emergencies. It is truly "non-chewable," and my dog's favorite toy is a rope-tug. If her rope-tug not close-by, she'll grab the leash in her mouth and use it as a tug toy. The leash has stood up perfectly, and shows no wear (in over 150 miles of use). To me, this is the perfect leash, for walking (and hiking with) my dog.

Training Tips

The four components of good fitness include flexibility, muscular endurance, muscular strength, and cardiorespiratory endurance.  For optimum health, include at least two of these groups in three workouts per week.

As your fitness improves over time by following a carefully planned fitness program, your ability to exercise closer to your maximum heart rate will improve.
