Line Reactor 12 Alpine Binding
The Line Reactor 12 alpine ski binding joins the Reactor 10 as the most innovative binding design of the past decade. Inspired by the awkward twisting falls commonly suffered in the park and pipe, the Reactors release laterally from either the toe or heel. This Pivogy technology reduces torque on the knee no matter how you fall. Remember the “Phantom foot”? Well, Line virtually eliminates this phenomenon. Check out www.lineskis.com for full scientific stats and research history. At the same, time, the Reactor holds on to you through brutal landings that you'll pull off—enjoy the confidence of no pre-releasing. Line didn't stop innovating there. Thanks to the Quickmount system, the Reactor can be moved to or from any of Line's skis with just a Phillips screwdriver (once the bindings have been initially mounted and tested by a certified shop). The Line Freedom Plate lets you upgrade any brand of ski to Quickmount compatibility. Get the Line Fat Brake for skis 85mm-100mm at the waist.

Good Stuff Is Worth the Wait I had several pairs of Line skis in the closet. I kept them virgin because I couldn't get the Pivogy binding last year. I ordered these as soon as I saw them on the site. This is the real deal. These bindings are built like a brick outhouse - they can take any thing you can dish out. It is so easy to change from ski to ski. I don't know how much freedom they allow without releasing, but I set mine at my usual setting and have not had any pre-release problems. I'm thinging of getting the mounting plate and using the bindings on some of my other skis too. Get yours now before they are gone for the season!!!
Too much Plastic I bought these looking for binding for my Motherships, ski shop had them mounted in minutes. First run half way down the hill I took a spill the bindings pre-released breaking off the heal piece and ski brake sending my ski flying down the hill, luckily no one was hit but the ski did find a lift tower and blew apart my tail. Line did warranty everything. (Go Line!) I'm getting another pair of the skis but not the bindings. Plastic heal piece snapped off. Good idea just need a more solid material.
LINE binding I made very good experience. It will open, when it must. I feel secure with it.

Training Tips
For runners looking to get the maximum benefit from hill training, as you sprint to the top of the hill have your arms pumping faster and faster. Once you get to the top, continue on increasing your speed as much as possible.
After each interval, take your pulse rate by counting the number of beats at your wrist or neck for 15 seconds. Multiply that result by four to get your beats per minute. Your next interval should start before your heart rate is less than 60% of your maximum.

The four components of good fitness include flexibility, muscular endurance, muscular strength, and cardiorespiratory endurance. For optimum health, include at least two of these groups in three workouts per week.
Your fitness level will improve by overloading, working your body hard enough to stimulate the body, progression, increasing the frequency, intensity, and duration of exercise over time, and regularity, working out frequently, at least three times a week.
