Line Assassin MTX Alpine Ski
The Line Assassin MTX alpine ski is one of Line's new super versatile all mountain rippers. The MTX is a mid-fat freeride ski designed for skiers looking to expand their possibilities. The MTX will move you from the groomed to the pow, from the mellow to the steeps. Line's Metal Matrix construction places a titanium cap over the maple wood core. The titanium transfers power directly to your edges for enhanced grip and reduced swing weight. You'll love the responsive feel of the MTX. The Directional Twin tip will let you dabble in skiing switch and help you define your skiing as you move it up to the next level.

LINE MTX vs. MTX PRO Having used the LINE MTX PRO ski last year, I was eager to see how it would stack up against the MTX. There is little difference between the two skis. The PRO is just a bit stiffer but both these skis are awesome -especially if you are a very aggressive skier and don't want to spend your whole day in the park and such. You can take these skis everywhere and they hold up - unlike some of the other Line skis. Out of all the Line's that I own, the MTX & MTX PRO are my favorites by far. Those who have a background in racing and want to try a twin out, will truly appreciate these skis. They are certainly not made for the Park Monkey or beginner to average skilled skiers. I think these are the best skis that Line makes - but that's my opinion b/c I like to ski the whole hill, not just certain parts of it. They both can take a beating and keep on ticking. If you don't want to waste the extra money for the pros, you don't need too - the skis are that similar. But, if you feel as if you need the extra stiffness of the PRO, then invest - but, again, the PRO hardly differs from the MTX.

Training Tips
One of the most mentally toughening things you can do as a runner who trains daily is to add a morning run into your routine. This means you are doing two runs a day. The morning run is simply more of a mental challenge then anything else.
Have two pairs of running shoes, especially if you live in a wet climate. Consider replacing your shoes no later than 500 miles into the life of the shoes.

Proper hydration for a run includes drinking 30 - 45 minutes before you start and about a cup every 10 - 15 minutes while running.
One of the best ways to win a running race is to win it in your mind first. Visualize yourself running and winning that important race. The more often you do this, you will start to "feel" the race. Your heart will get pumping and your body will feel the effort required to get the job done.
