head edge 10.0 They are a very nice boot, but the instructions on how to use the many adjustments and how to use them to improve the performance was poor. My previous boot was a tecnica and fit and performed well. The comfort of the head 10.0 edge is a 10 compared to it. I LOVE THIS BOOT
Head Edge 10.0 Ski boot I bought this boot based on the sale price and the description that said this boot was for "big mountain" use. I never even stepped into my skis. They are way too soft for anyone who is serious about charging pow. I think the flex rating was something like 63 which I did not know until the boots arrived. Too good to be true at that price. Found some Salamon Pro Models 03-04 at close to the same price, way better boot. This is strictly a rec boot. I really like this site and have always had good experiences with equipment bought here and the service associated. However, they should stop telling anyone this boot is for "big mountain" skiing.

Training Tips
As a long distance runner, a gradual increase in distance each week will allow you to build a solid areobic base. Distance increase should be no more than 10% of the previous week's distance.
When buying a new pair of running shoes, bring your old ones with you. You will get a better fit if you know if you supinate or pronate.

Heart monitors are useful for knowing when you are in the right zone for your training efforts. If you understand what your maximum heart rate is, you can set up your monitor to beep at you when you exceed the high or low range of your heart rate for the type of workout you are doing.
Cross training gives your body a chance to recover while still exercising. If yesterday has a hard run day up and down hills, then today's bicycle ride gives your aching knees a well deserved break.
