Atomic Stomp Alpine Ski

The Stomp twin tip ski is Atomic's answer to newschool fervor. This ski fuses freeride girth, 118/88/108, with jib features like twin tips. Boasting numbers like that, the Stomp enjoys long turns in crud, powder, and variable snow interrupted by the occasional, say, kicker or gap jump. That said, this ski is less suited for the park and pipe and ideal for off-piste and backcountry jibbing. The Stomp has its own adapter plate that allows the ski to maintain its natural flex and facilitates edge to edge transfer. The plate is designed to be mounted specifically with either the Atomic CR 614ex or CR 412ex binding [ATO0032, ATO0057] lending to the overall precision of this system's design. BINDINGS ARE SOLD SEPARATELY.

This little ripper is one of the most fun all-around skis I've ever been on...and I've ridden a LOT of skis (including reviewing skis for national magazines). A nice forward balance for jibbering around on anything; goes from arcing huge pow turns to practicing hucks to pow off little 5-foot rocks...and bigger if you can handle it. Straight hucks are good but you gotta keep your weight back b/c of the forward binding position or they'll send you over the bars. Just a great little ski. Sick!

The atomic stomps are the best ski I have ever ridden in my life. They ride everything superb park, pow, you name it. And I didn’t even mention their Huge twin tip!!

Training Tips

Your fitness level will improve by overloading, working your body hard enough to stimulate the body, progression, increasing the frequency, intensity, and duration of exercise over time, and regularity, working out frequently, at least three times a week.

As your fitness improves over time by following a carefully planned fitness program, your ability to exercise closer to your maximum heart rate will improve.

Did you know that to lose approximately one pound of fat, an average adult would have to walk 30 miles? You don't have to walk those 30 miles all at once.

If you consume 100 calories a day more than you need, you will gain about 10 pounds in a year.  A reasonable combination of diet and exercise can help control your weight.  The key is to balance your caloric intake with the amount of exercise.
